Seso Marentes Des Moines Artist, and Mainframe tenant received a Heritage Governor’s Art Award on April 29th, 2025.

Marentes shared in an instagram post: “Representation matters. This wasn't an award for just Seso. This was an award made by my community.”

Seso Marentes was honored for his dedication to preserving and sharing cultural heritage through the arts.
