Cynergy Creates Double Impact for Oakridge Neighborhood & Mainframe Studios

Cynergy Rendering from Simonson

Mainframe Studios is grateful to be working with the Oakridge Neighborhood on a land sale that will be used for the new development Cynergy, a mixed-used space designed to serve working families.

The Oakridge Neighborhood project provides housing, wellness, and economic opportunity to community members.

Mainframe currently owns the land, and the sale will strengthen Mainframe’s operations by providing resources to capital needs. The sale is a purposeful effort to support community initiatives.

The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines has awarded Oakridge Neighborhood $950,000 in grant funding to support the mixed-use project.

Julia Franklin, executive director of Mainframe Studios spoke to the Community Foundation about the sale. “We look forward to expanding access to opportunity, generating increased neighborhood activity and restoring a once strong economic footprint surrounding Oakridge Neighborhood and Mainframe Studios through this sale. I am so appreciative of the Community Foundation, who has served as a supportive partner along the way, helping set our two organizations up for long-term success.”
