The Drake University student news site, The Times-Delphic covers Editor in Chief, Lily Wasserman’s experience of November’s First Friday. In First Friday first place in my heart, Wasserman captures the spirit of First Friday. Wasserman ventures to all five floors - meeting artists, discovering art to take home, and taking in the liveliness of the night.

Wasserman shares the profound connection made to the pieces encountered, “In many of the works, I felt as though I was truly seeing the world through new eyes, eyes that saw beauty in places I had never seen. I left First Friday looking at the world with new appreciation, an appreciation only art can give”.
