Mainframe Studios is deeply honored!

On Saturday, February 7th 2026, Mainframe Studios was proud to accept the Spotlight Award at the Bravo Awards Gala on behalf of our staff, our board, and the 220 artists and creative entrepreneurs who bring our building to life every day.

What made the evening even more special? So much of it was made at Mainframe - from the fashion and jewelry in the room, to the videos on screen, even to the award itself.

Mainframe is more than a building. t’s a safe, affordable, permanent space where artists can dream, take risks, and build real careers.

Because when artists have space and stability, creativity doesn’t stop at the studio door. It ripples into our schools, homes, neighborhoods, public spaces, and local economy.

Thank you to Bravo Greater Des Moines, our city and county partners, and everyone who believes in the power of art to strengthen communities. This honor has been years in the making and belongs to every person who has contributed to Mainframe’s success. Thank you for making Mainframe what it is today.

Thank you for recognizing our community impact and for investing in Mainframe so we can continue to provide affordable arts workspaces and foster creative communities. We are grateful for all that you do to support, amplify, connect, and cultivate opportunities to drive regional priorities and elevate quality of life for Greater Des Moines.
