Brittany Brooke Crow Featured in July/Aug Issue of dsm Magazine

Brittany Brooke Crow was interviewed by Anthony Taylor. The piece on her work is featured in the July/August issue of dsm Magazine.

Their discussion covered Crow’s love of the film process and her approach to creating collage that explores her relationship to her body. Crow has a unique and personal process of taking self-portraits then tearing the photos to create a collage with layers of shadow, and light.

While Crow’s work involves a very personal process, Crow says “There is freedom in being able to approach feminism in the way that I want to, because I think there’s freedom in being able to use my body in this way”.
