Mainframe Studios is proud to present DUALITIES, a multimedia exhibition exploring the tension and dialogue between conceptual and material opposites.

This exhibition invites artists to team up with a collaborator whose practice diverges from their own and apply as a team - submitting works at the intersection of contrast and connection. 

Dualities aims to pair works that create tension and conversation through their differences, highlighting the power of opposites in shaping perception and possibility. 

Submissions are welcome from a wide range of disciplines including but not limited to: ceramics, painting, fiber arts, printmaking, photography, illustration, digital media, sculpture, and mixed media. The exhibition is open to any works maintaining a reasonable connection to the theme.

Artists are strongly encouraged to apply as a team and may submit up to two pairs of works together. Teams applications will be prioritized in the review process.

Individual artists may apply and submit up to two (2) works. Please note - individual submissions will be paired with other works in the exhibition.

All submission are due by Sunday, November 2 at 11:59 PM (CST), late submissions will not be accepted. There is no entry fee to apply.

Accepted Works will be on display in all four public gallery spaces at Mainframe Studios during December 2025 - January 2026. The opening reception will held during First Friday, December 5, 2025 5-8pm, all participating artists are encouraged to attend.
